The Esquimalt MFRC is looking for Out of School Care Workers to work at our Centre in Belmont Park, Colwood for the 2021-2022 school year (August to June). The shifts for these positions can vary between 25 and 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 6:30 am to 9:00 am and 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm. The rate of pay for these positions is $19.00 per hour. Personal transportation is recommended due to limited bus service.

These positions require at least 20 hours of childcare-related education in areas such as child development, health and safety, nutrition, or guidance. Suitable applicants must also be 19 years of age, hold valid first aid certification, and have experience working with children. Previous experience working with children with behavioural challenges is an asset. A criminal record check is a condition of employment.
