James Bay Community Project (JBCP) is looking for a part-time (20 hours per week) Family Resource Worker for its Family Resource Centre to work as part of a collaborative team to support children and their families to establish and achieve realistic goals. The position provides support, information, resources, mediation and advocacy to children and families referred by both the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) and the community. The position works collaboratively with colleagues to ensure delivery of programs and services at James Bay Community Project, and provides parent and child education programs under MCFD contract. This position includes the planning and facilitation of drop-in/registered play groups, Baby Group and Parent-Child Mother Goose. The starting wage is $26.38 per hour, with a generous benefits package after successful completion of a three-month probation period.
