October 1st Training Day at the CCRR

Oh my goodness...was the room on fire last Saturday afternoon!

In the morning Jeannie Owens-Wallace and Liz Cox presented, " A Parent's Perspective" which dealt with a parent's reality of having a child with special needs. Participants came away with a greater understanding of these special children and their special parents. We had hoped to encourage more educators and care providers to open their hearts and their doors to offer child care. The level of professionalism and compassion amongst the participants was tremendous.
